We are sponsored by the Elizabeth Portuguese Lions Club.  Our main objective is to promote community service among the youth of our community.  That leads to the development of Leadership, Experience and Opportunity qualities among 12 to 28 year olds.     
   Some of our activities include "White Cane", a fundraiser to raise funds.   Our sponsoring Lions serve a Thanksgiving Lunch to the less fortunate where the Leos volunteer their time.  During Christmas and Easter we collect non-perishable items to be distributed among several less fortunate families in our community.  This year we will also be participating in "Habitat for Humanity".  Throughout the year we raise funds to then distribute to different charities. Last year we donated to St. Joseph's Social Center, Raphael's House, John D. Young Rehabilitation & Recreation Center and the Eddie Grey Camp. 
    We meet every third Monday of the month at 7:30pm at the Portuguese Instructive Social Club on Route 1&9 in Elizabeth.
